By the way, one user had told me that he used this adapter as an adapter for 14500 imr batteries because 14500 imr battery has the same size as AA battery. In this way, he could put 14500 imr batteries into C size battery box. The Li-Ion battery has much higher voltage and capacity then alkaline or NiMH battery.
