Item appears to be new and unused. I tried to plug it in to charge battery to see if it worked, and it didn't charge. So I took off the cover and saw that it still had the white strip in place so battery hasn't been used, so I did not pull it out. Did come on when plugged in. Also I don't think the cd has been opened. Looks like everything is here. I would have to say unused although I did push some buttons while I took pictures of it turned on, and plugged in.
