Antique French bronze champleve enamel cross mounted on onyx Holy Waterfont

A beautiful antique c1880 French bronze Champleve or Cloisonne enamel cross with Holy water font.
The cross decorated with champleve enamel scrolls & foliage.
The interior of the font painted in white enamel.  Mounted on fine white Onyx, has an original bronze back plate complete with original bolts & hanging ring.
It measures 7 1/2” long by 4 ½” wide - 19 x 11.5 cm.
The Holy font is in in excellent condition, considering age. The colors retain great clarity and vibrancy and there is no loss to enamel. Onyx is in great condition as well, with no chips.
