    Description

A 19th century silver and porcelain Holy water font showcasing a lovely painted depiction of Mary Magdalene, which is encased by an ornate silver frame displaying floral motifs in relief, and accented with a crown relief at its peak. Beneath the frame rests a porcelain holy water font, which also features a centralized painted depiction of Mary Magdalene, and is surrounded by scrolling gilt painted patterns and accents. Possible French made.
Condition: Overall in good condition with expected signs of use given its age. There is evidence of damage to the silver frame towards the bottom, as well as evidence of past repairs to the porcelain font, all of which can be seen within the photography.
